Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is a breathtaking horticultural attraction in the heart of Singapore, spanning over 101 hectares of reclaimed land. This nature park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden, and Bay Central Garden. The most iconic feature is the Supertree Grove, a collection of vertical gardens up to 50 meters tall, which come alive at night with a dazzling light and sound show. These futuristic structures are not just visually stunning; they are also an integral part of the garden’s sustainable ecosystem, harnessing solar energy, collecting rainwater, and serving as air venting ducts for nearby conservatories.

The two main conservatories, the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest, offer unique experiences. The Flower Dome, the world’s largest glass greenhouse, replicates a mild, dry climate and features plants from the Mediterranean and semi-arid tropical regions. In contrast, the Cloud Forest showcases a lush, tropical mountain environment, complete with the world’s tallest indoor waterfall and a mist-filled Cloud Walk. These attractions, along with various themed gardens, art sculptures, and waterfront promenades, make Gardens by the Bay a must-visit destination, embodying the blend of nature, art, and architecture.
